Road Traffic Accidents

If you have suffered a personal injury in a road traffic accident that was not your fault you could be entitled to claim compensation. This applies to whether you are a driver or pedestrian in the accident.

By law a driver of a motor vehicle must have insurance. Therefore claims can be made against the driver of the motor vehicle using that insurance cover whether or not the injured person is a passenger in that car or even a member of the same family.

Even if the driver of the motor vehicle had no insurance, or it was a hit and run accident, a claim can still be made. The claim is made through the Motor Insurers Bureau.
